Discover Dive Adventures Aboard the Epica Liveaboard Liveaboard

The Epica is a traditional fishing boat that has been fully transformed for diving, featuring eco-friendly planted trees. With its open and breezy design, it boasts two decks and a small sun deck atop the captain’s cabin.

Positioned just above the ocean, the lower deck houses 6 guest cabins, each equipped with AC and bunk beds, offering space for up to 12 guests. Opting for Epica means choosing an ideal budget-friendly liveaboard experience in Raja Ampat without compromising on the comfort of in-cabin air conditioning and the luxury of waking up to picturesque ocean views.

Although not the largest vessel in the area, with a length of 24 meters, Epica stands out as one of the swifter options available.

The cabins are functional and devoid of excessive embellishments, but they come complete with AC, power outlets, and fans for your convenience. For basic hygiene needs, two shared bathrooms are equipped with freshwater showers, shampoo, and soap. Conveniently situated at the stern of the lower deck is the dive preparation area. Here, tanks are filled, equipment is set up, and divers get ready for their underwater adventures. Often, direct jumps from Epica to the dive sites are possible, while some may require a quick ride in our accompanying tender.

The upper deck serves as a communal space where you can relax on bean bags, unwind in hammocks, and peruse through books about fish. This area also doubles as the setting for our buffet-style meals. A generously-sized table offers ample room for evening gatherings, perfect for card games and socializing.

Epica sails through Raja Ampat all year round, offering a variety of itineraries based on the season and length of the cruise. What remains consistent is their commitment to optimizing your Raja Ampat experience while adhering to a budget-conscious approach!
